The magic of ‘3’

When you are preparing to write copy for any purpose.

I’m going to share a tip that works in all scenarios.

You just need to think, feel and write (3) in threes. It will help give your writing a framework, function and flow (3).

It helps you to cultivate, generate, and collate (3) your ideas.

It’s what I call the magic of 3.

Let me show you:

I started a learning journey many years ago, from education to professional development to self development (3).

My self development journey started with books (learning on my own) then seminars (learning with others) then experiential education (where the content provides the context for you to experience your own personal transformation unique to the person sitting next to you) (3).

Everything you want to say can be said with the magic of 3.

Why did I pick 3? I started to notice over the years that 3 seemed to be a special number, I wasn’t even aware, I was just doing it naturally (3).. That’s where the title of my page comes from - copydraft. My first draft is always just ready to go. I write copy by trusting my intuition, using my why and using the magic of 3(3)!

When you place decorative cushions on your lounge - what works? - the magic number is 3! When you buy candles for your dining room table - what works? - the magic number is 3.

3 nights is the magic number to wait for your little one to sleep through, I have 3 kids and in my experience, if they slept through three nights that was the magic key for me. Wait three weeks for a new routine to establish. This is a whole other topic I could write about but I won’t for now. Just remember you’ll know after it happens and not before and when you count back the number will magically be three.

So that is the magic of 3.

If you’re writing a presentation, a speech or script for video use (3). 3 concepts are easier to recall. Try it for yourself and see how you go.

Everything will start to show up when you start looking for it. This isn’t just an exercise for writing copy. This is a practice for becoming intentional, becoming aware and ultimately, manifesting what you want to show up.

If you can do it with copy, with words, you can do it with anything you set your mind to!

Comment, ask a question and share what’s opening up for you!

Hi my name is Angela. I have loved writing since I was able to hold a pencil in my hand. I soon learnt I had a gift of connecting with my ancestors through writing before my 30th birthday.

I self published a book (A family of shopkeepers - via blurb) about my ancestry, the result of a project to unite family here and gone through their memories and stories of my ancestors. It is hard to explain but I felt their presence through this journey and I continue to.

In Feb 2020, I found this online business learning platform through my mum. With her never-ending guidance and support, I discovered more of my purpose in life.

Everything I wanted was inside of me the whole time. I just needed someone to point the microscope at me and tell me the gold is within and create the context for me through the learning platform, through the collaborative community, through mentorship, guidance, coaching and transparent leadership.

The reason I share is because part of my finding myself was also realising I see the gold in others. And in seeing the gold in others I have the capacity to empower others to discover what they want for themselves and their lives.

If you want to find out more about the learning platform that can do the same for you, just reach out at one or any of the links.

I was looking for mentorship and personal growth and I found it in an unlikely place called "building an online business from scratch."
